At Presidio Teach we continue to be inspired by you!  You are the best of the best in your respective content areas of education and are now ready to take that experience to the next level by teaching in the United States.  Teaching in the US is a great experience and an opportunity to grow professionally.  Even though you are experts in your content areas, teaching in the United States is a new culture and a new system.  You will have opportunities to learn this new culture while simultaneously sharing your culture with Americans.  What a gift!  We commend your ambition as it takes great commitment and courage to come to an unfamiliar country, learn the intricate details of a new system, and be successful.

At Presidio Teach we are committed to assisting you with your journey and here is some of the support you can expect to receive:

• We will pair you with school districts, assist you with school interviews, and guide you through the hiring process.
• Act as your liaison with the host school district.
• Receive you upon arrival in the United States.
• Help you arrange initial personal needs with regards to housing, bank accounts, cell phones, applying for social security card, and more.
• Manage your teacher licensure process including fingerprints, degree evaluations, related documents, mailings, and more.
• Support that includes face-to-face meetings periodically for the duration of your stay as well as ongoing technical and professional support.
